I had built my computer a while back and due to budgeting, I had bought a dual channel kit, the exact kit i bought was HyperX Fury Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600 Model HX316C10FK2/8, and my motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3. If I bought another EXACT Memory Kit to get 16GB, how well would it run? would it work?

A big Maybe - there are no guarantees, you can pull sticks right off the assembly line and they might not play nice - that's why such an assortment of sticks/sets available and in different numbers of sticks - the sticks in a package are all tested to play nice.
