Windows 7 or 8 would be a good choice (the free upgrade to 10 is coming)...I believe Windows 8 performance is better than Windows 7 - the only downside to Windows 8 is getting used to their menus....Download Start8 ($4.99) and it makes it just like Windows 7....

If you are going multiple monitors...definitely Windows 8.
