I recently bought and installed an amd fx 8370 processor, I am using the Cooler Master Hyper N520 for cooling. I am not overclocking, now when I played assassin's creed unity it would overheat, also crysis, tried borderlands and it didn't over heat. I used the Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound as the termal grease. So as of now I am trying the cooler master thermal compound to see if it wasn't the fact that I may have applied to little thermal paste. I honestly whant to know what could be the problem here. (also I used the pea application method)

That's a bit odd, when that CPU was tested it was right around 65 C for temps. Does your case have enough cooling for your components? If you have that CPU and a large hot video card in a small case with not enough fans or airflow that can cause the heat to go up...
65 or a bit over is fine for that CPU at load. There is no issue here.

When you say "overheat" what do you mean? Normally when one states the system overheated it actually got hot enogh that either the CPU started to throttle back power to prevent damage or the computer rebooted. Even being hotter than normal temps for a component is not quite overheating.

Well my computer brought it up as a warning that I had reached 65 degrees, so I want to be sure.
