I'm getting crashes while doing anything intensive that eats ram. Prime95 will crash, games, and so on. I've done memtest and still get a crash where I have to hard reset. I have a 4 slot motherboard and works fine on two, tested all 4 ram sticks, just all 4 at the same time crash.

I don't think I can get an error report as it never recovers and had my system for years with overclock without a problem. Trying to figure if it's ram or motherboard (windows reads 4gb ram as normal).

Intel q6600 2.4 (3.4 oc)
4gig ddr2 667
Ga-p35-dq6
Nvidia gtx 550 to
2 500gb HDD (non-raid)
Windows 7 pro

No what happens is you have a good PSU that works great for a few years then all of the sudden things slowly start getting more and more unstable. This is capacitors simply not filtering that ripple anymopre because the dielectric wears out over time. Ripple = bad. Get new PSU.

Do you think its PSU? I've researched various topics about my problem before posting and went back to stock with same results.

Also, if it was PSU wouldn't it just turn off under full load? Can't really test as my other PSU doesn't have a 6pin connector for my card.

My temps are normal, max 66c on air under stress before the crashing. (I always eye my temps)
