Can I fresh install from the "full version, backup disk"

This is going to be a bit vague, but I'm changing my motherboard and need to install a new OS.

I have two purple Windows 8.1 CDs that say "full version, backup disk, includes Windows 8.1". These are physical copies that I requested sent to me when I bought and downloaded Windows from the Internet.

Are these enough for a fresh install? the fact they are labelled as backup disks makes me wonder.

Then you should be fine. That is just a physical copy, to store away and use later if needed.

This is the physical copy I requested when I bought and downloaded Windows 8.1 from the Microsoft Store. As far as I can remember.

I had a computer with Vista, I upgraded via download to windows 8.1 as I wrote above. I am installing a new motherboard as well as a new hard drive, the previous motherboard got damaged. Although I still have the old hard drive if it would be useful.
