Need a replacement ATX Micro mother board that runs a 1155 processor chip set but not a lot out there new anymore with the features I want. Would prefer to keep it within the Z77 family.

Found a ASUS Maximus V Gene only its refurbished. Does anyone have any experience with refurbished mobos good or bad?

Attached a link to the site;

other recommendations too would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

Personally, I have had bad luck with refurbished. Not that I buy a lot of refurb, but the PC components that I have bought, have all had issues. One was a MB, one was a gfx card, and another was a HDD. I sometimes feel it is better to buy 'used' rather than refurb. At least the used item is likely to be working when it is sold.
When they say 'factory refurbished', it doesn't necessarily mean from the manufacturer's factory. It usually is from a local shop that handles the manufacturer's defective products.
