I was copying files in my harddrive suddenly my computer went blank...i restarteda nd inserted the drive...it is gtg recognised but not accesible is there a chance it is corrupted??

Is it giving the drive a letter and shows in my computer?

If it shows in my computer then yes it is likely corrupted.
