Graphics card not being used?

I've recently bought a new custom made gamingcomputer ( not made by me, but some experts), and I tried to play Assassins creed unity ( which should be no problem because I have a GTX970 4GB), and i could barely move.

So I went ahead and tried to see what was wrong and this showed up(linkhttp://i.imgur.com/bAnr76K.png ) So is it using the intel graphics card or not? If so how do i make it use the GTX one?

plug your monitor cable into the graphics card not the onboard port.

Is your cable plugged into the card that's on your PCIe slot or is it plugged into the onboard grapichs port?

Make sure video cable is coming from your video and that latest Nvidia drivers are installed. That should fix your issue as your card is being detected.
