Assassin's Creed 3 Low FPS

I once played AC3 on a rig that had a NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti and it ran on high graphics at 60 fps average.
Now I have a rig that runs on an AMD R9 280X and AMD 6300 Six-Core Processor, and it runs 30 fps average on lowest graphics.
Help?

try changing the games affinity in task manager to use another core other than 1 or 2.
seems a lot of issues on the fx 6300 series are cause by the first core loading up and trying to do everything on the system.
so try setting it to run on cores 3-4-5-6

is vsync on? In-game or in catalyst control center?

open task manager, right click on the game exe and select set affinity.

I don't see 6
EDIT: I disabled 1 and 2, now the game is 10 fps average and I have constant lag spikes.
Please help, this is very annoying
EDIT2:
All I had to do is go to AC3 config and set it to DX9 and enable core 0. Game now runs at 60fps average. Thank you HEXiT

sorry about that mate i wasnt sure which core to tie it to i just know that some games need to have there affinity set manually on amd fx cores.
i recently found this out myself so it was a guess as to whether it would work or not.
but im glad you figured it out and its working for you now... dont be afraid to try the same trick with other games as it will work for some but not others.
