dude, the 4300 and the 6300 cost EXACTLY the same (according to PCPartPicker).
oh also the 110 bucks difference between the 270 and the 290 - NO BIG DEAL. ITS JUST 110 BUCKS.

Which he most likely won't use. I'd go with the firs option, but I would change the 270 to a 290. I don't think the price is that far apart. Assuming the PC is used for gaming, you want to spend most money on the GPU.

Don't get so excited, man. no need for those caps.
I didn't check with pcpartpicker, but last I checked the 6300 was more expensive. maybe there's a discount on it right now. but the fact is he most likely won't use those 2 cores, you gotta admit that.
About the price differene between the 290 and 270, yeah I didn't realise It's as much as that, but there's always a possibility of getting a used one with warranty.
