Which is better: evga gtx 980 superclocked 3way sli OR evga gtx 980 classified (acx 2.0) 2way sli

- I want to know which could give me the highest performance and cooling among these two sets.
(Yes I know it's a bit overkill but this will be my biggest project in high end gaming)

- Also what is a more suitable power supply for these cards?

- I don't mind about the price but I do mind about temperature and noise (I know none of these will be dead silent but tell me which of the two sets is the most quiet)

- And finally, which set can give me close to 60fps at 4k resolution? :)

while the classified are a stronger single card, the 3-way setup will beat the 2-way classified setup.
anyway you go with, you will get to 4k 60Hz (or VERY VERY close) with both setups.
while the 3-way setup will be louder and hotter, i expect someone that is dropping $1600 on GPUs will use closed back headphones.
as for a PSU, even a 1000w PSU could power the 3-way setup. something like this (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-platinum1000) would be great, as its SeaSonic made, 80+ platinum, and 1000w.

How loud and how hot would you measure the 3 way sli (btw the 3way sli is not acx 2.0 it is the original evga model)
