Is this 600W PSU enough for an R9 290? (pics included)

Just wondering if my current PSU can handle an R9 290 card.

It's a poor quality power supply , don't run a 290 with it.

Spec-wise it can , but the quality is lacking , don't take the chance.

what cpu are you using? off hand I would say yes if it actually outputs what it says on the 12 volt rail but then again that's not a brand power supply I know.

edit agree with sr post above. specs it can but its not a name brand power supply so it could cause issues

From the reviews I've seen, I would NOT use that power supply for an R9 290.

well the r9 290 pulls out about 300 w when its at its peak i think
so if you dont have some crazy component that eats your power i dont think you would have a problem
it would power it but i dont think it would do well with it

Alright thanks everyone. ill probably just hang on a bit longer till i can get a 970. that shouldn't be a problem right?
