I'm not sure if this is a Graphics card issue or a power supply issue, but when the power connectors for the graphics card are connected my computer won't start. But when the power connectors are unplugged my computer boots fine, I'm not sure what's happening honestly.

Specs:
Mobo: gigabyte z97x-sli
Cpu: Intel 4960
Gpu: Msi gtx 980
Psu: evga supernova 850w g2

Yes, my computer was running fine but my computer crashed and now will only boot up if the graphics card is not plugged in. If I try to turn on the computer with the graphics card installed the computer won't turn on at all

Is the computer is running with beep and light on the keyboard ? this how u do it
1.remove the GPU and plug the VGA or HDMI cable on the onboard
2.go to bios and find the multi window witch is mean the onboard GPU is called intel HD graphics ( it depends on the motherboard )
3.and then uninstall the GPU driver
4.then put the GPU back in the motherboard and plug the cables in the gpu
5.and install the GPU driver and ready to go

I did some more research, I put this same card in my brothers computer and ended up with exactly the same problem. I also read some forums with people having the same problem with the same card, it ends up the card is dead and I am going to have to rma it. Thanks for the input I appreciate it.
