can a 550w seasonic psu be able to handle amd fx 8320 and msi r9 285

just want to make sure im all set to upgrade my pc and im not sure if this is a good choice. also wondering if the 285 is better choice than the 280x. thanks!

Seasonic is top of the line. But what exact PSU model do you have?

The 280X is a better PSU and has 3GB of VRAM. But this also means it's more power hungry. I believe the 285 is more efficient. But this all depends on your PSU model.

i would get the seasonic g series ssr-550w 80 plus gold and so based on this psu which graphics card shouldi get then?
