So I just Re-installed windows 8, now I've made a folder in my HDD (D) called 'Windows8Docs' and made sub folders like 'my music" 'my documents' 'my photos' etc and now do I go on the left hand side and right click on Documents for example, and change the location to D/Windows8Docs/My Documents? Then do this to the rest?

Solution
Put the stuff you rarely use, rarely play or that doesen't need speed on the Hard drive and the Stuff you always play that NEEDS the speed on the ssd (like battlefield, farcry, etc

Just an idea...like you I have a documents folder, music folders, videos.

A really GOOD one to have on your HDD is a drivers folder..that way you don't need to go online to get drivers you may need if you reinstall your os.

Okay so how would you set up your HDD and SSD for like gaming? Or just personally.. I don't want to use my SSD much so I want to use my HDD for mainly everything else.. How do I accomplish that?

What i did was just move all my files to my second SSD. I have one for the OS and Apps and a smaller one I keep stuff on. I just made a folder on the second (storage) drive and clicked and dragged everything over using 2 windows. There are other ways to move stuff, but that is simple and it works.

So right now I have 2 (storage) drives SSD ad HDD. they're both fresh and my OS is on my SSD. My HDD has nothing on it.. So what should I put on my HDD to get it ready for personal use and gaming? (Like folders, etc)
