Not sure where to post this.

I am going to start building this a soon as all my parts arrive and looking for advice.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bMHMrH

Like where to mount the radiator? What exactly is 'push-pull' fan setup? What is optimal fan setup on this build and what direction should they be going (pulling in or exhausting)?

Also once everything is installed is there a good site on how to setup the operating system and make sure all your board and other drivers are all up to date?

I realize these are pretty newbish questions but that is exactly what I am. First time for everything.

Thanks for the help in advance.

With the R5 I have looked at quite a few builds and seen some in front and some on top so was curious which configuration was optimum.

One thing I am still a bit shaky on is how do I know I have the latest Bios and how do I update it if it isnt the latest?

So I realize that positive pressure is the way to go. To achieve this (I hope) Is to have 2 140's in front the X61 radiator on top and one 140 in the rear. Is this a good plan?

My first ever build from ground up and would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Well, its a nice build with an overkill PSU, but its alright, lol

As for the Radiator, just the place where the 2 120mm fan mounts is where you put it. NO need for Pull/Push, I honeslty find that a waste of time/effort

They should be exhausting as well, but pull works too.

For drivers, install them using the CDs, and then go on their respective websites, look for your component, and download the driver.

Thanks for the responses. I know the PS was a bit overkill but was thinking future upgrades but most likely could have done it with a much smaller one.

And whats an X99? (sorry newb alert)

True... That just got in my mind; I probably used that for another topic which ACTUALLY demanded that.
For any cases, it depends on where the case will have obstructions, based on the location of the device. Let's say, for example, my Dell Precision T3400. It's sitting on the side of my desk (no cabinets, obstructions would be the wall and the computer's left and the desk). So that'll leave my right fans open (I don't have one, but just say so), the front. The top will be slightly obstructed. So the most optimal would be the front.
