I am thinking of buying R9 270x , but i am confused which brand should i go for. I have the following in my mind-

1. Sapphire R9 270X
2. Asus AMD/ATI R9 270X
3. XFX AMD/ATI R9 270X 2 GB DDR5

I've heard some negative comments on MSI Amd GPU's , please shed some light on that as well.
I want a GPU , which runs coolest and makes the least noise. Please suggest from the above choices or recommend of you own as well
Furthermore i want to enquire that , i have Corsair VS 450 W psu , would that be enough for the GPU.

Cheers.

No need to wait if you need a GPU now. CPU cooler like 212 Evo or even TX3 wont be required if your not overclocking.

As far as 960 vs 270X, 960 is a faster card (not by much) but its more power efficient. Its up to you, i'll say get a 960 and you can grab everything you need later on...

How about the after sales of Sapphire? No i wont be overcloking.. Also, when it comes to pricing R9 270X is close with GTX 960 and it uses less power as well. say what?

Manufacturer actually depends on the cooling system and base memory clock. I would suggest the Sapphire r9 270x 2 GB Dual-X as it has better cooling system than others and has 1070 mhz clock frequency. Yes, it is close to 960, though gtx 960 is better than this. I will recommend r9 280 or R9 285 as they have almost same prices as r9 270x and also they are better than gtx 960 and r9 270x as well because of more VCore and VRAM and definitely more efficiency.

I'd have to spend around 3500 bucks for the 960 , is the extra money worth the performance. Also is there any heating issue with the r9 270x , i use stock cooler for the cpu , dont have cash for 212 EVO.

Look at at the tittle. He clearly said his CPU is A10 5800K.

A 450w psu will be fine for that apu/gpu combo, even with a low end psu like yours.
Under a normal gaming load you shouldn't come close to pulling 300w.
Assuming worst case scenario, loading up the cpu+igpu + 270x 100%, the system will pull around 315w give or take.

I think others have left good enough comments about the 270x vs 960 so i will leave it at that.

You cannot crossfire 270X with integrated HD 7660D, jeez. Its made for something like 240/250 to dual with, even then results are crappy with awful microstutter.

Yea , i knew that.
I am underlying my options , please suggest

1. Buy R 270X and the CPU cooler and hope it works with the PSU
2. Buy GTX 960 and hope the performance is worth the extra spending.
3. Wait for the 300 series from AMD , hope the prices go down.
