Should I get a k series processor?

Hey guys i was thinking about getting a intel i5 4690k but i am not quite sure if it's worth it. I mean i also have to get a z series motherboard and a good cpu cooler. So does all this extra expenses justify the performance gained by overclocking a k processor? Or should i just grab a non k 4460 or something like that with h series motherboard? Thanks in advance!!! :)

Overclocking is just for pleasure getting most out of your hardware. You wont really feel the difference between 4460 and 4690k at 4.5ghz unleass you are playing some really CPU intensive games. Even then performance difference wont be that huge. Like you said, it require Z/MB, better cooling and extra $ for K CPU.

If you have your doubts, get a 4460 and happy gaming.

So you are saying i should grab a non k processor-motherboard solution? If thats true than could you suggest me some... I like full black motherboards :) or like the msi gaming ones.
