currently i have :
intel Pentium dual core E2200 2.2Ghz
2gb ddr2 ram
nvidia gt 210 1gb ddr3
550w psu
I play dota 2 with this config at about 25-30 fps at low settings.
If i increase my ram and get a new gpu that is my new specs :
intel E2200 2.2ghz
4gb ddr2 ram
nvidia gt 730 2 gb ddr3
550w psu
What should be the average increase in fps that i should get.I know its not possible to get the exact change in frames but atleast an average figure so that i could figure it out that will it be worth it or not ...thanks

Solution
Geforce GT 730 itself is 5x faster than Geforce 210 . Geforce GT 730 with 384 CUDA cores and DDR5 is even faster. i suggest you get a faster CPU as well

E8400 or E8300 , if the motherboard supports them

Best way to find out is to use the Tom's Hardware Graphics Card Hierarchy chart to see where the 730 falls in comparison to the GT 210. I'm not sure you will find many other comparisons online directly comparing the two cards, but it's possible. Just based on what I can gather here, I imagine you doubling your framerates, but don't quote me on that ;)

What resolution are you running Dota 2 at? This will effect the almost guaranteed bottleneck you will suffer from with that processor and graphics card. The higher the resolution, the less bottleneck you will have. Overall, I'd say you could run Dota 2 at least at medium settings with 40+ frames with that setup if you're running 1080.

Edit: For future reference, you can use this website to compare two graphics cards side by side.

This, it's a pretty big upgrade for you.

You should also look at a CPU upgrade, the e8xxx and e7xxx CPUs are super cheap on ebay right now
