Hello there! I wanted to know if i could run these memories
on an asus m5a97le r2.0 with an fx-6300 on it. I don't want them to run at 2400 but at 1600 like the dimms i use now (kingston hyperx red 1600mhz cl11 1.5v) so i will have them to work together. Sorry for my english ! thank you very much

Even if you could find the same exact model of sticks (which people try all to often, even to the point of buying two packages of two sticks rather than a 4 stick package (which they often do thinking they will save a couple dollars) there's no guarantee mixed sets will play. You can pull sticks right off the assembly line that won't play together, that's why all sticks in a package have been tested to work together.

First it's doubtful that your 6300 can run 2400 sticks at 2400 - even with a healthy OC, Second when mixing different DRAM there's never a guarantee that the sticks will even play together, and last those sticks by themselves will prob run at 1866 by themselves

i dont want to run them at 2400 with this cpu and mobo. I found them at offer. i know i can run them alone at 1866. I saw that at 1600 they have same volts and latency with my old dimms so i thought they will play well together. Anyway i cant find to buy the same ram i have now so i think its worth trying.
