Do I need more - faster RAM?

Do I need better - more RAM for playing games? This is the last thing I think I should upgrade, what if any improvements will I get with more RAM or faster RAM? I know my motherboard will use faster RAM but my CPU won't. What if any should I upgrade to?
Specs:
ASUS Hero VII Motherboard
Intel I7-4790 (3.6 GHZ)
Double Tower CPU Cooler
PNY GTX 970 (SLI)
1300 Watt Rosewill PSU
(3) SSD
(1) TB HDD
My RAM is from my original DELL computer which is where I got my CPU it is 1600 Mhz CL 11 (4) sticks = 16GB
The motherboard will hold 32GB

You're cool, don't upgrade. It's a total waste of money, 8 GB is fine for todays games. Maybe in the future the games will use 16 GB, but you'll probably upgrade until then.

My RMA is DDR3 1600 Mhz CL 11 which registers 800 Mhz

I did go ahead and buy GSkill 1600 Mhz CL 9 9 9 32GB total
I ran several Benchmarks and improved my Fire Strike Extreme Benchmark by 200 Points now sits at 9300 which is double a high end gaming computer, sweet!
