I installed Windows 7 And In the process all got formatted.. How do I recover ?

I installed windows 7 and normally it just formats the C Drive but by mistake I formatted all drives and EVERYTHING got deleted .. My Mom's Important Data too .. Can I recover that DATA I just really need it ... I read other threads so I am trying to use Ease US Data Recovery But Will that work in this case ?

You might be able to recover some of it, but a good portion is gone. The only way is to get the drive somewhere where they can use a magnetic recovery tool, but that one is expensive.

"Will" a data recovery software work? Maybe, maybe not.
You can't know until you try.

If not, you have learned the value of an actual backup.

It might or it might not. Nobody knows. Its a chance, its a gamble. Nothing is 100% guaranteed. Try and contact the HDD manufacturer if they perform deep recovery. It is going to cost you few hundred or so.

LOL a few hundred may run to much more than that if they need to do a clean room disassemble and platter analysis.

Clean room and platter analysis is needed for mechanically failed or damaged drives. For a deep recovery of a formatted drive - it is usually not needed.

P.S Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Wait for it to be actually recovered and then celebrate.
