Best Gaming Monitor for AMD HD7970 Vapour X 6GB card?

Hi , I have been looking at changing my monitor (32inch 3d LG TV) and have been looking at Samsung U28D590 @ £439 or the Asus PG278Q ROG Swift @ £629. As I'm using an AMD card (and not planing to change it any time soon) is the Asus the best one to go for?

I use the computer mainly for gaming but do work on it as well.

I don't want to spend any more that £630 so what would you do?

I would either swap that GPU for an R9 290 or 290x, or get another 7970, for crossfire. The 7970 is a nice GPU, but it is more suited to 1080p gaming, unless ran in crossfire.

The system is an Asus Sabertooth Z77 with i7 3770k (liquid cooled),AMD HD7970 Vapour X 6GB, 16Gb Performance Ram, Windows 8.1, Antek 900w PSU.
in an Antec 900 two case.

I was thinking at first to go for maybe a 3 monitor surround system but maybe 1 really nice 27 inch - 32 inch would be the best option (certainly on the FPS on the card) ?

Thanks logainofhades, I am pleased with the card just need to replace the monitor, Any suggestions for a new monitor?
I did think about at a later date getting another 7970 to run together but that will have to wait till after the monitor.
