Hello Community,

I think I've reached my limit and came to think what if I am wrong before buying a RAM stick.
I just want to make sure and double check sure. lol

Here's My Rig:

Motherboard: GA B75M D3H ( B75 Chipset, Support Only Dual Channel)
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4315#sp
CPU: i7 - 3770
RAM: 2 x 4 GB Kingston 1333 Mhz
GPU: MSI GTX 970

So, I have few questions regarding the topic.
I searched through Tom's Website and read something about having Dual Channel Mobo will make difference when having 1 x 16gb would be actually BETTER than 2 x 8gb sticks.
I want to ask again the community experts for the answers.
Cost is no object here btw.

1) RAM compatibility.

Almost all ram sticks says nothing about the compatibility with the B75 Chipset, which is the one I have with my Mobo. Or should I ignore about the chipset version?

Thinking about getting this 2 x 8 gb ram 1600Mhz or 1 x 16 gb ram 1600Mhz

2) If those are compatible, which one should I get.
I want to have more than one choice to choose from.
I heard Kingston has the lowest RMA rates when Corsair has the most popular rates...

Thanks in advance for your support! :)

You are not going to find ram that says what chipsets it supports as that could be a really long list.

Your motherboard has a list of already supported ram:
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4315#memory%20support%20list

Gskill is a good brand.

Get 2x8gb over 1x16gb as the memory is designed to work best in pairs

Also if not doing heavy multitasking or doing video/photo editing with files over 4GB then 16gb of memory will be a waste of money.
