Good 140mm fan for horizontal mounting

I was going to get the cougar. A lot of people have been complaining about fans making noise in the horizontal mounting position. I'm very hesitant on which one to buy now. Can you guys help me pick a fan that cools well and doesn't create much noise in the horizontal position.

The choice of fan depends a lot on placement.
If it is an intake fan, you need something with high static pressure. The Silverstone AP series are very good.
Silverstone themselves place the 180mm version of these fans horizontally in a number of cases like the RV02-E and FT02.
