After many calls to the MFG and getting different ways - How Can i Set up a Raid on an P8Z77-V Deluxe.

Here is what I have been told.
1. A raid 0 has be be created before installing OS.
2. After you go into the BIOS (Delete key) than close out.
3. While system is still booting, continuously hit the "I",for intel raid setup, and complete the Raid. My key board "I" key is about worn out. lol. But turely I giveup on ttrying to create this raid-0, almost.

The drives for the raid-0 are on Ports 3&4 Intel 6.0 (2 SSD's). Also 2 Wd 1t Blacks on Ports 5&6. I already have my Win 8.1 64bit installed. My OS is on Port 1, Marvell.

Raid 0 - The capacity of a RAID 0 volume is the sum of the capacities of the disks in the set, the same as with a spanned volume. There is no added redundancy for handling disk failures, just as with a spanned volume. Thus, failure of one disk causes the loss of the entire RAID 0 volume, with reduced possibilities of data recovery when compared to a broken spanned volume.

Why do you want to do raid 0?

What SSDs?

What size WD blacks?

I was able to resolve my issue with the Intel Ports 3 & 4, thanks. But know I have to raid the ports 5 & 6 which are 3.0. Is it also a BIOS issue that I need to turn on?
