new ram freeze help

I just bought new ram, kingston fury hyperx 2 8gb sticks, and after i installed them ive been having problems of my computer freezing where everything is frozen and i cant move mouse or anything. It freeze for about a minute. The computer never actually crashed where it restarted or shut down though. These are the specs of my comp except the graphics card is a gigabyte gtx 660

You have a prebuilt computer that doesn't allow for adjusting the DRAM - the computer is rated to 1066 maybe 1333 and you set 1866 DRAM in there, it's not going to be perfectly stable and you can't make adjustments to it - should get DRAM appropriate for your rig - basic 1066 or maybe 1333

will i still be able to get 16g with the 1333 or 1066? or does it have to be lower, I also put my new RAM back in and it says 664.9MHz
