So I just purchased the parts for a new computer through pcpartpicker, and I received everything in except my RAM, what I ordered was G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory F3-1866C9D-16GXM. Blue colored RAM that matches my case at that.
What I received was G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory F3-14900CL10S-8GBXL.
Now I been getting some advice from different sources and thought I would drop in here and ask if the difference between CL 9 and CL 10 is going to make that much of a difference for what I intend to do which is primarily gaming, you tubing, Netflix, burning cds. I won't be doing anything hardcore like video editing or rendering or anything but I do like to run multiple programs at once such as playing a game while having you tube open etc.

As you can see I have a good thing going on here and I just need to know because the company messed up and the reason they messed up was because they substituted memory for me because what I ordered was not in stock but failed to notify me. Yes I could send it back and buy it elsewhere but I been researching and waiting to get this thing built for like a month now and getting impatient. Is the difference in latency going to be that much noticeable for me for what I intend to do? Also if I ever intend to expand and put additional memory in this thing and I decide to get CL 9.....can you mix different latency RAM?
I am getting the general feedback from people that it won't make much difference at all, at least nothing that I can see anyways and I won't notice anything at all in gaming sessions. So am I just worrying to much? I think for my budget my computer is pretty beast as it is and I might be overreacting lol.
Thanks
