Computer BSOD with strix GTX970 maybe a psu problem?

My computer BSOD when ever I try to install my drivers on this new build and bsod fairly fast on bootup but computer runs perfect without the card in. heres my specs

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

my case is also running 3 240mm fans and 1 140m

can any1 help me with this wtf problem?

Yes, update the Mobo Drivers, then install the Strix card - should do the trick - had a similar issue with my ASUS RANGER mobo, Its a compatibility issue with the Haswell chip I believe.

Though you may want to clean the partially installed Strix drivers first

EDIT - ha ha, just looked at your PC spec - almost the same as me, though looks like my budget was a little bigger :)

Mey I just said meh around 1500 didnt really set a budget will do 2morrow after work and I wil let you know

Hope it fixes it mate - just as a matter of interest - you don't have the NetGear Genie software installed do you? It had all sorts of conflict issues with the ASUS Software and was causing lock ups and freezing on my build - specifically with the Disk Unlocker software so I could mount my 3TB drive as a single Partition. Check the Windows Event viewer as Administrator too - there may be additional info on the cause of the BSOD if the BIOS update does not help.
