2 firepro W4100 card only show 4 display

The easiest way is to use DisplayPort connectors to your monitors. If you monitors do not support DP, then you will need to use at least 2 Active adapters (to HDMI/DVI/VGA) for each card.
Ok, if I am understanding you correctly, i think I have those. The card itself has 4 ports for Displayport adapters. I have 4 adapters for this to DVI. I do not see anything discussing additional equipment. That seems counter intuitive for a four port card labeled as "Quad", but maybe more is required.
My main concern is making sure that this card can actually handle 4 monitors at once with each showing different content. That this card is not just going to mirror two screens onto two more (which I haven't been able to get it to do either). The manual and ordering page are thin on details but it is described as if it can handle 4 separate screens at once. I still have time to send it back if I misunderstood the specs.

Using DP to DVI adapters adds a layer of complexity and potential for incompatibility. This is why I recommend using DP directly. I'm not sure what sort of DP to DVI adapters you have, but you will need Active ones in order to get all 4 displays (per card) working. Only 2 passive adapters will work per card.
The cards can handle 4 displays either as extended desktops or mirrored-you just need the proper connections.

I may have figured out part of my problem. I bought the adapters from the Apple Store as no other store near me had them. Apple being Apple does not state whether they are Active or Passive. But one of the posts above said that PC users have problems with these. should only be used for Apple products. So, compatibility being an apparent issue, return these and will get some stated active adapters. Thanks!
