Hey Tom's,
I have came up with this pc build for gaming: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/swXDTW
I had my mind completely set on the ASUS STRIX GTX 970. However, here in Canada NCIX has a 100$ rebate on the MSI Radeon r9 290x, which after tax is almost 70 dollars less than the 970. I am already over budget. So, should I go with the r9 290 or should I spend the extra 70 dollars for a 970?

P.S. I will be gaming at 1440p.
Thanks in advance,
Zerychon

( Mr. CTurbo ) op has asked for a better gpu ( r9 290x vs gtx 970 ) you know gtx 970 beats the r9 290x in the benchmark result...gtx 970 easily play on 2560x1440p resolution.. you know its a better card and cheap.. its a more powerful card than r9 290x..

And mr. Zerrychon its a better card for your future.. you can't face any problem in future

Sorry, I am already over budget, so a 64 gb SSD is all that will do. It will only be for a boot drive and *maybe* a game or two.

Yeah the point was to just leave the 64gb ssd out. It barely has enough room for windows. You're not going to be able to fit a game on there. It requires constant maintenance to keep to from being near max capacity. Performance suffers greatly when a ssd stays around 90% full and it also drastically reduces the life of the drive.
