Hey guys, so yesterday i bought a hard copy of Wolfenstein the new order. When i first played the game, everything was fine, until today, when i tried to play the game, the textures were awful, making it impossible to play the game. Im using a Nvidia card (880m) if it matters. I tried to restart the game, but its all the same. So any suggestions ?

I just bought an MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB and I'm having some bad texture popping, some real bad fluctuation from 45-60fps, so nothing is solid or steady. What's odd is that this is on any setting, not just ultra, high, medium or low. Maybe it's the resolution.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling, all that? Maybe rollback drivers/Update drivers? Trial and error, bro.

What's to say if someone had a pirated copy of the game (Wolfenstein)? Would that affect the gameplay/performance? I think that had something to do with it for my friend who downloaded it on day one, haha. He said it was a HUGE download and on purpose, so it would keep people from torrenting it. Tsk tsk tsk, :-/.

I'm playing my legit copy on "Custom" with EVERYTHING turned up to the max and then some....still getting chopped frames from 45-60, Vsync is on, but there's major screen tearing. I'm not sure what's going on, but the only thing I can think of is that it's my CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Thuban 6-Core. 4 1/2 years old.

What do you think, Relly Rale?

first I would try it with vsync off and in medium setting and see if it goes away... and also if you have dual monitors check the performance tab in task manager and check to see what load the game is putting on the CPU

I can't stand having VSYNC off b/c of the ridiculous screen tearing with it already on, which doesn't make sense, so I'm sure it's going to be even worse with it off. I'll try that, though, VSYNC off and medium settings. If that doesn't work, I'm just going to uninstall it. I don't really want to play it that badly anyways.

I don't have two monitors, so that's not the problem. I have a feeling it's my CPU. I'm running on an old AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Thuban 6-Core 3.3GHz, NOT OVERCLOCKED.

Good call, I forgot about that. I'll research more about it, but looks like you're right. Thanks for the update, Coozie7.
