Hello everyone,

I've been having this weird problem for a while. Upon boot, the motherboard shows the following message,

kkrnkPF.jpg

Due to this, I can not run my rams on 1600 mhz. I tried running XMP but it still resets on boot. Also tried manually increasing the frequency, no luck. (Tried changing from 1-3 to 2-4, same result)

There were no problem when I first got the board, after a month or so it started happening, when I updated the bios, It stopped and now its back again. I'm not sure if the rams were ever running on 1600 mhz because I never thought that I had to change the freq. manually. (I'm sure I haven't changed anything on board or bios or on windows itself to cause this reset on boot. It just appeared one morning.)

I've seen people with similar problems, but all of them occured when they were trying to overclock the system. In my case, I can't even understand the error that is causing the bios to be resetted.

My specs are down below.

MSI N770 TF 2GD5/OC GTX770 2GB GDDR5 256Bit
Intel Core i5-4690K
MSI Z97 GAMING 5 DDR3 1600MHz M.2 HDMI DVI Vga 16x Lga1150
Kingston KHX16C9T3K2/16X HyperX Beast T3 16GB (2x8GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL9 XMP Dual Kit
Corsair CC-9011042-WW Graphite Series 230T
OCZ OCZ700MXSP-EU ModXStream Pro 700W Modüler 80+ Psu
Seagate ST1000DM003 1TB 64MB 7200Rpm Sata3 6Gb/s

Hoping someone could help me solve my problem, and sorry for my non-native english.

Thanks,

Make sure the battery on your motherboard is well inserted, If not then insert it properly. If the battery is already well placed, then you may need to change it because it's dead. The battery saves your BIOS settings, so if the battery is dead it won't save any settings and it will reset every time you restart your computer.
