how do I plug my monitor into my motherboard

Can someone please tell me how to plug my monitor into my motherboard instead of plugging it into the Graphics card

do you have a socket on the motherboard, at the back near the usb ports etc. You might also need to go into bios and tell it to use the igpu, assuming of course that you have a built in GPU.

It depends what motherboard and CPU combo it is - some have integrated graphics and therefore monitor ports and some don't. If you aren't gaming, how about any old cheap GPU to use to just get a basic monitor output?
