Samsung tab 4 is unable to connect to mobile hotspot from samsung s4.

My Samsung tab 4 is wifi only, so i tether it to my mobile normally but it is failing to connect to my mobile phone hot spot in some locations even though it says the signal strength is strong and password is correct, as I can connect to it while in other locations. my mobile is able to connect to the internet. Any ideas as to what may be causing this issue. Thanks in advance

thanks for the reply, I actually found that the authentication error was solved once I changed the broadcast channel on my phone (mobile hotspot). I think the issue was, at my place of work we have some strong Wi-Fi transmitter that were operating on a similar channel. once I tried a few different channels the tablet connected to my phone without a problem.
