asus radeon r7 260x

As far as i know it is a very good card compared to the price,but someone told me it has a lot of problems, and linked me this. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1940145/freezes-randomly-fitting-asus-260x/page-2.html

Any thoughts,is it good ,is it bad??Should i buy it or not?Is there a better offer at nVidia side?(same price)

its good and going to the nvidia side would mean going to a gtx 750 ti which i personally recommend due to its small power requirements ... the r7 260x problem in that thread was only for that users card every card on the market have a few non functional ones shipped out so he just got unlucky.. i would suggest you get the gtx 750 ti if you can but if you cant the r7 260x is just as powerful

thanks a lot for the reply,i am going to stick with 260x since the 750ti is way over my budget! (same price with 270x in greece)
