So i bought a Gigabyte GTX 750 TI TOC WF 2X and i overclocked it through this article. At 1st i wasn't able to push the core clock pass +135 Mhz but after i updated my OC Guru and nVidia driver,i was able to push core clock to +200 mhz and memory to +800 mhz reaching 1376 mhz(it would auto boost to that even the though the OC guru says 1233/1311) and 6200 mhz...it worked fine and was stable with that OC profile for a month or so and i logged the temps they were never above 57 in Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0. in games it never passes 46.but yesterday i tried to play Borderlands 1 and it would keep crashing...not restarting but freezing and then giving a black screen.i down clocked to default and now it works fine again how ever i Overclocked it back and benchmarked it with Unigine Heaven Benchmark and it still was stable and fine like before...it used to work fine in borderlands too till yesterday...so what is the problem?is it the game?or the card is suffering?(which i don't think is the case cuz i don't see any artifacts, empty polygons and stuff like that)

Sounds like silicon degradation. Have you used Furmark for stress testing yet to make sure you have a 100% stable over clock? 1.376 GHz is a huge over clock for that card and it may be that you are at the limit of your overclock. Just for reference, I can just barely get my GTX 780 past 1.2GHz at 1.212v and still be stable. Granted not all cards are alike and it looks like I lost the silicon lottery in this regard but I just wanted to show it for reference.

well i just stress tested my 750 Ti with Furmark for 20 mins 100% stable.Core: 1376Mhz Memory: 6200Mhz Max Temp: 62 Fan Speed:40%(auto) Voltage:1.137v (Auto). The config was 1600x900 4xMSAA.should i have left it stress testing for a longer time?i didn't because after 6 minutes the temp didn't add up anymore...Also the Over Volt limiter was on 1 so I'm assuming this is the right amount of OC for this card since it didn't crash.it hasn't been long since i bought this card(3 months at best)and this OC config has been there for barely 1 month and i don't usually OC it unless i want to get more out of some games...(basically i want to say it hasn't been runinng on that config for 24/7)but you still think it has degraded in such a short time?
