Is corsair CX V2 Series any good?

I'm looking at the Corsair CX600 V2 Power Supply and I've heard Corsair PSU's are Mod edit: Keep it family friendly please. Is this true?

Corsair CX and VS PSUs are bad or as you say sh*t. Their AX, AXi, TX lines are superb.

Just to add to your comment, you forgot to mention the HX series. Those are the best for performance/price. You can get a HX 750W for 79$.

Not all of Corsairs psus are bad, just their budget units. The hx and ax series are good units. The cx v2 is made by cwt so I would avoid it if possible, but there are much worse psus available.

they are better then no name brands advertising thousands of watts, they aren't the best nor best buys psu-s though, the cs and vs are their budget lines, problem here is they didnt get the memo and you pay too much for mid level psu's... they ask a premium that's not justified.

CX series psu isn't that bad..
It's actually a decent series..
But after 2-3 years, it will fail due to low quality caps in secondary parts

The only Corsair units left I would buy are the HX/HXi and AX/AXi series.

I have yet to see a cx last 2yrs. I've seen 1 get close the rest failed around the 1yr mark.
