WD my passport 1 TB got infected by some virus.. No antivirus can even detect hard Disk..Not QuickHeal Not Norton...It Doesn't format on Windows not even on LINUX What should I do...I have Important data stored on it. How can a Hard drive gets blocked in such a way.

I'm very sorry to hear about your issues with the WD My Passport! :( I'd suggest to use WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics utility. It will not only let you test the drive for any damage, but it will has the feature of low-level format (a.k.a. Writing zeros). This procedure fully erases everything on your drive to the point of no return by writing zeros to every sector on the drive. Hello, can you explain with more details the problem?, does reconize your pc your HDD and can it copy files?

If you have important data I prefer to find first a sollution about that and then look for formating
