Unknown Space Taking up HDD

Hello! I have a 1tb HDD and I noticed that my HDD was missing some space so i looked around and found that in WinDirStat I have almost 400GB of unknown space being taken up

Possibly a Windows.old folder?

check in the disk management to see if it is unallocated if so you should be able to add it on

I just deleted it and it was not the problem!

I found it out it was system restore!

-how old is your hdd,
-have you defraged it if not do so
- try ruining and antivirus or antmaliware
-and make sure that there aren't any odd programs you don't know about
