Black screen on startup on newly built PC

Hello, I have a problem with my newly built PC. The problem is a black screen on startup, I have no "beep" from motherboard speaker, I already tryed to run it on one stick of RAM, even without GPU and any other connection to DVD and card reader.

On startup every single fan is working perfectly, I cannot hear any "wierd" noises from the case, except from APU, which is making a "wierd" noise every couple of seconds.

I also removed all ram sticks, and it started beeping like crazy, tryed to rearrange them, didn't help at all.

My build:
Sapphire r9 280x Toxic
AMD Athlon X4 860K Boxed
Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H
WD Blue WD10EZEX, 1TB
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Crucial Ballistix BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00CEU (2x 4gb)
Cooler Master GM G650M

for a thermal paste I used Prolimatech PK-1.

the x4 860k is not an APU, so it has not onboard video. if you connected the monitor to the motherboard, that would explain why you are not getting video. if you are connecting the monitor to the GPU, so you probably have a dead card. try replacing it, and see if now it works.

I did try connecting it with GPU, the problem is that the motherboard speaker does not make any beeping sounds when PC is turned on.

I get it, but "resetting" CMOS by touching those 2 pins with a screw driver, is it also considered as updating bios? I'm a bit worried and very careful about what I'm doing with the PC, because it's my first time doing this/building it, so I don't actually know that much about it. I would say I'm new into this stuff...

connecting the 2 pins on the MoBo is like pressing the power button to turn on the PC. updating the bios is like updating any other driver - downloading it and installing it. if you cant boot up because the BIOS isnt updated, go to where you bought the MoBo, and they should update the BIOS for you.

I managed to solve the problem.
The solution is... I bought another processor, A4 5300, which is an APU, and because it supports F1 bios version it was a perfect choice to update my motherboard Bios to F7. As You can see on the picture I post, FM2+ Is supported from F6 and higher (My motherboard was F5 before I updated it and 860K is an F6) so thats why my motherboard could not find my processor.

Here is the chart from Gigabyte supported CPU's-APU's
http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=4716

And by the way, my motherboard is in version 3.0, in 3.1 the bios is updated to support FM2+ out of the box. So thats how I solve my problem. I hope it will help someone in the future :)
