I have just started to overclock my 4690k that runs on a msi z97s sli krait edition motherboard. CPU temps are pretty great with my corsair h75 keeping temps below 50C at 4.2ghz. However, as soon as I try t pass 4.2 ghz, I keep getting BSOD. I kept the voltage at adaptive because when I had it on override (1.25 on voltage), it kept crashing no matter how much voltage headroom I gave the chip. Also, the uefi bios keeps freezing up so I cant use my mouse or keyboard but the temperature monitor and time keeps running. I dont know what to do anymore, and is it possible I got a really bad chip?
