I have a ASRock Z97 Anniversary LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard, 1 PNY Optima 240GB 2.5-Inch SOLID STATE DRIVE - SSD7SC240GOPT-RB, and 2 Seagate Barracuda STBD3000100 3TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drives. My OS is Windows Home Premium 7 64bit.

I am having trouble both figuring out how to get windows to recognize the 2 HDD (I loaded Windows on the SSD) and how to configure Raid 1 for the setup. Could anyone assist me in this or point me to some specific directions.

As always, thank you for your time and expertise

Solution
You basically have to start everything over. Go into the bios and set the drive mode to Raid. Save and reboot. After the bios screen, hit ctrl + i. This will bring you into the raid controller. Create a new array and select the discs you want to use. Give the array any name and select raid 1 (mirroring) then create the array. Then go ahead and install windows as you would normally.
