Hi Masters,

i am facing an issue with my MOBO.

MY PC specifications are:
Intel Core i7-4790K @ 4.00GHz Processor
Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 Mainboard
CoolerMaster Silent Pro M2 1000W Power Supply
CoolerMaster Nepton 280L CPU Cooler
Kingston Hyperx 2x8GB 1866 BUS DDR 3 RAM
ASUS DVD RW SATA 24X Optical Drive
Kingston 480GB SDD
Seagate 4TB 3.5" SATA HARD DRIVE 64MB CACHE
EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SC 1GB
Windows 8.1 Professional Edition build 9600 - 64-bit

I also bought extra Kingston HyperX 16 GB (2x8), when i try to install the Ram in all Slots MY PC never boot, just Monitor light blinks and PC restart after few seconds. (this happen again and again until I remove the Ram from 3rd Slot and 4th Slot.)

I checked my Processor,MOBO, they supports upto 32GB of Ram. All Ram Modules are the exact same Models.

In my BIOS i noticed that Memory Controller B says N/A.

2x8GB works fine in x slots, but when i try to install RAM in 3rd or 4th Slot, my PC keeps restarting and won't boot. (Using the latest BIOS.)

I try to increased the DRAM Voltage to +0.50 but it does not work. Check all slots one by one and working fine. Am bit afraid about increasing the Voltage manually.

Any solution?

does the working ram sticks work in the other slots?? if not then they may be a bent pin under the cpu. the cpu now is the memory controller. also look at the mb guild for 4 slot ram. some ram will work filling all 4 slots some wont. sometime with 4 slots filled you have to bump up the memory controller voltage.

Initially just loosen then snug down, don't completely remove (that will require new thermal compound and would prob be a followup if the loosen and snugging don't work, as you would next look for debris, thermal compound seeped into the socket or bent/broken pins
