Alright this is going to be my 5th gaming build. I'm looking to overall have a really good PC, and at the same time have it be flexible within a $1500 budget. The processor is going to be an Intel Core i5-4690K. Keep in mind I'm also going to be getting into overclocking so I want it to be able to handle that (not extreme overclocking, just basic overclocking), as well as use 2 video cards to their full advantage. I've grown sick of hearing "oh im getting 120 FPS", and here I am sitting at a max of oh 30 FPS on medium settings. I can spend about $200 MAX on the motherboard, I'm hoping not to go over $170 though.

Was looking at the following boards:

MSI Gaming 7 Z97

Asus Z97-A

Asus MAXIMUS VII Hero Z97

So far I really did like the MSI Gaming 7 but I dont need the crap it comes with. The Asus Z97-A was looking promising until I saw the Asus MAXIMUS VII Hero Z97. The maximus may go over the price range a bit but I might be able to afford it.

Graphics cards will likely be either 2 x MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G GeForce GTX 970 4GB or 2 x GIGABYTE GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD GeForce GTX 970 4GB . Please guide me through this process of picking a MOBO, it's one of the few things I'm not up to snuff on.

Also headset is a Logitech G930 wireless headset, I see many mobo's come with basically a sound card built in. Is getting a good headset worth it? If so what headset should I get? Should I get one that comes with a microphone or not?
