amd Radeon R7 260X driver problem

Hi iv got a gigabyte 78lmt usb3 motherboard an amd fx 6 Core processor 4 gb ddr3 ram and a 800w psu, I have just bought an amd Radeon R7 260X graphics card but when I installed the card and downloaded the latest omega driver all I got was a black screen ie no signal being sent to my screen, can anyone help me please thanks matt

Try uninstalling the gfx driver from safe mode with http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/
Then reboot to Windows and lit it load its default driver. See if all is good up to that point.

You won't know until you download the driver again and install it again. But there have been several folks on the forum that have had problems with the Omega driver. It might just be they they don't properly uninstall the old driver first.

I would install the driver again and see if the problem is gone. If so, then it was an old driver conflict. If the problem persists, I'd do DDU again and install the previous driver.

I dad a clean install of windows and even that didn't work as soon as I installed the omega driver got black screen again. Iv contacted amd but they just ask you to check all the things iv already done and it take 2 days to get a reply each time. I don't know what else to do????
