Hi.

I Have the following parts:

Z97 GUARD-PRO
Pentium Dual Core G3258 3.20GHz 3MB

I would like to verclock it to 4.30 GHz.
Can you please recommend me a cooler for it, that it can cool it to the lowest temperature as possible.

Thank You!

Solution
The lowest temperature possible isnt' necessary. If you really want the lowest cooling possible then you would have to use liquid nitrogen.

I recommend the Corsair H75 or h100i. Great coolers, will allow you to overclock to 4.6+ if needed.

Batmanforever,

At 22C Standard Ambient, here's the typical operating range for Core temperature:

80C Hot (100% Load)
75C Warm
70C Warm (Heavy Load)
60C Norm
50C Norm (Medium Load)
40C Norm
30C Cool (Idle)

Your highest temperatures will occur during stability tests. Temperatures are lower during real-world everyday workloads such as processor intensive applications or gaming.

While liquid cooling is a good solution for 4, 6 or 8 core processors which range from 77 watts to 150 watts, liquid cooling is overkill for your 53 watt dual core processor.

A decent mid range air cooler has plenty of thermal capacity to cool your G3258 when overclocked to 4.3 or higher. The ever popular and inexpensive Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO would be a great choice.
