Solution
That is a solid build with a good PSU! I do, however, recommend you don't waste so much money on the case, but other than that, amazing build. Good to see other people are learning not to make PSU mistakes.

I'd rather pay a little more for a case, because it's a component that often gets carried over to the next system, like the monitor. Nicer cases are usually a bit quieter than cheaper ones that have thin harmonic prone panels.

It makes your system just overall more responsive.

While I can't answer you exactly, this is my cooler:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233029

My case also has 4 140mm fans, 2 in front, 1 rear and 1 bottom besides the PSU fan which is set to off. I ran a few quick and dirty benches for you using Aida64 and Core Temp. I ran it at idle, 100 percent (3.7 ghz) then just used the EZ overclock button at a nice average 4.4 OC. 4.4 is something most intel CPUs can reach.

run for 4 min each:

Idle:

100%

4.4 100%

When you use partpicker, post the permalink, or even better, the BBCode Markup )both on the ft side of the screen.

I don't enjoy been a pain in the ... but although the build is good, it would help knowing what you want to do with it, gaming, overclock, use it as a bookend etc... :)

If this is a gaming build, and if you are on a budget, I would remove dedicated sound card and the cooler, at least for now, if you are not going to overclock (and you wont need too for a long time), and get better PSU,

If you don't want to overclock at all I would also suggest: i5 4460 + GTX 980

About PSU, you can compare the one I suggested with the one you want to buy here: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=383 and here http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=348

They are both great PSU I think.

About CPU cooler is not clear if you need it or not, but I don't think you will. as long as you don't want to overclock

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2227922/4690k-stock-fan-gaming.html

If you want to buy you can check some CPU Cooler benchmarks to help you decide,

http://www.anandtech.com/show/7364/memory-scaling-on-haswell
http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/6313/noctua-nh-d15-cpu-cooler-review/index.html
http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/cpu_cooler_roundup_2013_q1_review,8.html

but if you are not going to overclock you dont not need a very expensive one

http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2478892/alternatives-hyper-212-evo-budget-cooling.html

Btw, there is no reason to buy a "k" version if you will not overclock.

You would probably be better of with a I5 4460 + GTX 980 or a E3-1231v3 + GTX 970/980

In any case you should consider buying two or 3 case fan to improve air flow. But you can get them at a later time, one by one.

About monitor, I don't really know if you should buy that one or you will be better of with a cheaper one like the Asus VX238H + GTX 980. Maybe someone else can help you here.
