so when i reformatted my windows 7, i only format c:drive partition... but there was 2 other partitions that i didnt know about.. ( i only have one hdd) so if i delete those 2 partition will my pc still run like the first day i install windows 7?

Solution
It depends on...
1) what you mean by formatting. Normally, formatting means erasing the HDD and writing fresh sectors and tracks. Quick formatting foregoes the sector and track writing because they are already there.
2) what was on the drive to begin with. Windows 7 normally makes a small hidden system Reserve partition. If this was a pre-built PC with Win7 already installed, it may also have a recovery partition as well.

Going to be hard to check for a virus if you have nothing but a blank drive in the machine. May have to move the drive to another machine with Win on it and run a virus check there. Always update your virus pgm. first.
