I finally got fed up with HP's "support" over my OJ Pro 8100 continually shutting down and disconnecting from the network. Their idea of a fix was to upsell me a business grade, refurbished laser jet 200 AIO. They've refused to admit their stupid energy star software has a glitch in it that kill the wireless connection, which makes the printer totally worthless on a network. My last HP office jet kept working until HP quit making the ink for. Plus the print heads finally died not too long after but this 8100 has been a POS since day one.

So, since I do NOT need or want an AIO printer and I've yet to find any reviews on just standard ink jets, does any one have any suggestions? It needs to have 802.11 g/n connectivity.

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/Office-Jet-8100-won-t-print/m-p/5415230 Shows I've been having this same problem for over TWO YEARS. HP's solution was to try to blow my off with a $75 coupon on another unit. Are they kidding?

I have:
1) Uninstalled and reinstalled printer.
2) Deleted ALL HP software from my computer and reinstalled it.
3) Connected directly to my desktop USB port.
4) Installed a new wireless router.
5) Assigned a static IP address
6) Run ALL diagnostics
7) Stuck needles into Carly Fiorna dolls.

NOTHING works. Good-bye HP. Hello Canon. (Besides, their ink is substantially cheaper.)
